Cadillac: Not turning off., seville sts, number combinations

I have a 1995 Seville STS, when turning off the ignition the engine shuts down the radio turns off but that is all. The instrument cluster and gauges and fan A/C motors stay on and drain the battery in a matter of minutes.

Answer
Check your computer for fault cODES via:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF or ON.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER(^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. CODES will appear in the form of LETTER/NUMBER combinations followed by the word HISTORY or CURRENT when each code displays.

4. The display will stop displaying codes.

5. Write down exactly what displays as if you were video-taping the screen and tell me what appaers EXACTLY how it appears.

6. Turn OFF ignition.
