how do you release the parking brake on a 1994 Cadillac Deville?

If your vehicle still has those large black plastic panels under the dash to cover up all the junk that is up under the dash, Remove the drivers side panel.

Sit in the car and put your left knee against the drivers door. Directly in front of your right knee there is a small black release lever that you can pull to release the emergency brake
