Cadillac: emissions worning on dash,srevice light on, cadillac devill, analog instrument

i have a 1996 cadillac devill,when i press the test button on my dash,the emissions light say service,an my check engine light jest came on after the emissions light,

Perform this test procedure to see if you have any CODES stored in the computer.

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them on your climate control panel if you have a DIGITAL instrument cluster.

   Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and PASSENGER WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them on your climate control panel if you have an ANALOG instrument panel cluster.

2. Fault codes will appear in the form of letters and numbers such as PC112 HISTORY or PC112 CURRENT and then you will see PCM?

3. Write down the letters and numbers EXACTLY as they display as if you were video-taping them. If you can video-tape them, E-mail them to me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com

4. Turn ignition OFF.
