Cadillac: car wont start, car wont start, lock cylinder

I have a 1995 Seville and it wont start it says anti theft on the screen and wait 3 minutes before starting , the car was running fine about an hour before i do believe that the remote lock was used and the window was down and the car was unlocked with the door handle would this have anything to do with it not starting

There is a fault in your PASS_KEY system which is either a problem with the:

Chip on the ignition key.

Pass CODE module.

Wire connection within the key lock cylinder on the steering column.

Your dealer has a special test box to test the system.
