Cadillac: 94 cadilliac seville heater, cadilliac, diagnostic info

I am a mechanic @ a small dealership we don't see too many caddys was hoping for some advice. The climate control when set to max heat will blow warm to hot air from the right side vents but cold from the left side vents (floor and defrost) we checked for codes in the on board system but none are climate control related (ride control primarily) have read your past questions and have checked the actuator behind the glove box liner and it appears to operate normally, (full range and smooth movement) have noticed if the car is warm and then shut off, on restart the left side air will be warm for a few seconds before returning to cold.am suspect of controller but have no diagnostic info with vacum schematics. any help would be appreciated.

Make a location mark on the threaded rod of the actuator where it snaps into the plastic arm retainer and unsnap the rod from the retainer. By manually moving the metal actuator rod you are opening and closing the damper door.

See if you can get heat out of the drivers side by manually moving the metal rod back and forth.
