Cadillac: 1988 will not start, coil pack, fuel tank

Tom, I wrote you the other day about my 1988 cimirron v6 with fuel injection that wil not start. The car had been setting for sometime and now it will not run.

I have dropped the fuel tank and replaced the pump and screen and the fuel filter. I also replaced the spark plugs. It will run on starting fluid. There is fuel at the rail. It will try to start with two or three cylinders firing.

If memory serves, That engine has 3 coil packs with 2 spark plugs coming off each coil pack. You need to test the coil packs to see which one or ones are not firing. They are swappable.  If the coil packs check out OK, Then i would say the ignition module under the coil packs is faulty.
