Question -
I have a 1992 Cadillac sedan deville.Sometimes it won't start, sometimes it will.I've changed the starter, neutral safety switch, relays, even the computer located underneath the glove compartment!Same problem. If the security light comes on and goes off,it will start right up like nothing's wrong but if the light stays on it won't.After sometimes 15 sometimes an hour it will start up as usual.I'm frustrated beyond belief!Could you please help me out?

Answer -
If you have the key with the micro-chip in it. The key may be going bad. See your Cadillac dealer for new keys.

Answer -
It's NOT the column, It's the CHIP on the key.

In order for me to provide you with pictures and and electrical schematic to find and fix your problem since this board does not allow sending pictures.

PLEASE include your original question(s) and the MAKE-MODEL-YEAR and ENGINE SIZE of your vehicle when you contact me.

PLEASE tell me if you do your own repairs and or your skill level of auto repair. This is VERY VERY important if I am to be able to help you repair your own vehicle or have to take it into the shop for repairs.
