Audio Systems: 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio Audio, volkswagen cabrio, needlenose pliers

My daughter put her IPod tape/adapter into the tape component of
the radio. Now it says "No Tape" (even though there is one in there)
and the adapter won't eject. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Try using a butter knife and a very thin pair of needlenose pliers or hemostats to help it out. If you are uncomfortable with this, remove the deck and take it to a repair shop. You could also try pulling the two radio fuses to reset the unit, just make sure you have the radio unlock code written down beforehand.
