Cadillac: Leak on Passenger Side, cadillac seville sts, 1998 cadillac seville

Hi Sir,

I have a 1998 Cadillac Seville STS.  Whenever it rains, water will drip down the side onto the carpet only on the front passenger side.  It's not coming in through the passenger window, its coming in through the section where the hood ends.  I know its an issue dealing with the seal so my question is how do I go about re-sealing this w/o messing the other side up or anything else in the process.  Any help you can provide will be much appreciated, Thanks!

Look along the firewall in the engine compartment for a small hose coming out of the firewall from the inside. It will be located near the bottom of the firewall and it should drip water out from the evaporator when the A/C is running on hot days and leave a water puddle under the car.

a lot of times this little drain hose gets plugged up with debris and needs to be unclogged. You can use a plastic straw or something SOFT to stick up in the hose to unclog the debris.

When the hose gets clogged water accumulates and drips on the inside of the car.
