Cadillac: cadillac starter, jumper cables, cadillac deville

Ok I just got a new starter put in my 1992 cadillac deville. It ran for 2 days but now it wont start again. My battery is good so if anyone has any helpful info i would appreciate that

Did you have the starter tested at the place where you bought it BEFORE you put it on the vehicle ?.

Did you test the battery ?. Get another battery nad try it or get a car and some jumper cables when this no start is happening and jumper the other cars battery to yours and see if the car will start. If it won't, especially when your engine is HOT, your problem is most likely the starter.

I had a problem with my truck with a 7 month old battery that if you let it set for 2 days, it would not start, Nothing, Just click-click-click. Put a hydrometer in each cell and found a bad cell.

Took battery back and told Junior at the counter that it had a bad cell and he said I had to leave it for 3 days so they could test it.


They called me back and said BY GOLLY, IT HAS A BAD CELL. I said NO SH**.
