Cadillac: interior lights, fuse panel, cadillac deville

Hello Tom, I have a 1979 cadillac deville. as you know when exiting the vehicle the interior lights stay on when you close the door and eventually they go off. My lights are not turning off and causing my battery to drain. Is there a module or timer that controls this function? If so where is it located? Thanks Jerry

First buy a new ILLIMINATED ENTRY TIMER so you know what your looking for and it is located up under the dash on the drivers side. Probably near the fuse panel but it it is WELL HIDDEN unless someone already replaced it and you may be lucky and just find it hanging down under the dash.
