Car shuts off when it gets warm? electrical fine, car doesn't start
right away but eventually starts(1 or 2 hours?) runs fine except
for this. Heard that it could be Cam Sensor. What do you think?

Car starts fine and runs fine buts will shut off at anytime, has
happened while driving down the road and while idling in a
driveway.
Answer -
By what METHOD did you determine that the electrical if FINE ?.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As
most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where
the repair was made.

Once the car quits, Are you getting ignition to the spark plugs ?. Don't say YES, Make SURE.

The cam sensor will not usually cause the vehicle NOT to start.

Your problem is either IGNITION of FUEL failure. Most times ignition failure is caused by the
CRANKSHAFT sensor and the fuel is most caused by fuel pump failure.

Let me knwo.

Fuel filter was replaced just days before problem started happening, car was running fine before
and after replacement. electrical has no problems. Car shop said they couldn't diagnose any
problem if the car was running fine(which they said it was when the car was towed in) Hasn't
been running rough which leads me to believe the fuel pump is fine.

Answer
You stated: Hasn't been running rough which leads me to
believe the fuel pump is fine.

Fuel pumps can act up intermittently at any time they feel lik it. I have seen cars start perfectly, Turn it off, Go to start it and no fuel from the pump.

You keep saying ELECTRICAL HAS NO PROBLEMS. HOW do or did you determine this ?. A GUESS or an assumption ?.

You have aother option, let the technician who say's he can't do anything until the fault occurs drive your vehicle over the weekend and hopefully it will act up and strand him somewhere. Next time, he will look a little HARDER before making such a statement.
