Cadillac: 92 ETC will not start below 50 Deg., vacuum hose, throtle body

Question
Car runs great above 50 Deg. but below that it will crank like mad with no sign of even trying to start.
Fuel pump generates 40 PSI during initial start sequence.  Manifold air temp. and water temp sensors are both good.  For that matter, the ambient air sensor also seems to be accurate.  When cranking, there is spark (at least to the plug wire being tested). The EGR valve checks out OK.  I have replaced the vacuum hose fittings on top of the engine.  There are no current codes.  After cranking, gas fumes are noticable close to the engine.  Looking through the throtle body, the manifold is wet.  I even removed the TB and gave everything a through cleaning.
The car has had this condition for 5 or 6 weeks.  Now that it is cold every day, I am a pedistrian.
Any suggestions would be greatfully accepted.
Many thanks,
Bud Meichner

Answer
What I suspect is a TEMPERATURE sensitive component being either the:

1. crank sensor(s).

2. Ignition module.

3. Other distributor components.

What I do is take a hair dryer and heat up the sensors and the distributor and related electrical connections and then one warmed up see if the vehicle will start.
