Chevrolet: 1970 Corvette, classic car dealer, chrome luggage rack

Question
Hello,
I recently came across a classic car dealer that is selling a Daytona Yellow 1970 Corvette 454 convertible with black leather interior and a white softtop. It is supposedly numbers-matching. The car is not concours, but looks like a nice driver. The only real options it seems to have are the hardtop and chrome luggage rack. It has no A/C which doesn't really bother me, but what does is the lack of power steering. Since it is the winter, and I can't really "test-drive" the vehicle, my question to you is how
difficult would it be to drive this car without that feature? Iam amazed that someone actually ordered this car back in 1970 without this important option. Am I better off staying away from this car and looking elsewhere?

Hi  I do not remember but as far as the a/c and power strg.  it might have been kept off due to there was no room , that is the only reason I can think of. but with no a/c thats fine you have a conv. and as long as the steering wheel is the std. size  it should be fine , but it might be a tiny bit tough in a tight parking spot,  as far as the a/c and power strg. it only takes away from the  engines power so I would not let it bother me at all. If  the car is all original and is in good shape with  good low miles ? it is a investment if the selling price is right. as far as no power steering or A/C I would not let that bother me at all.ok
