Chevrolet: Cooling Fan, chevy beretta, cooling fan

My son just bought a 1994 chevy beretta was wondering how to check and see if the fan is any good I've have not seen it come on yet ?? Where do we start from to check it out. We had it running for over a 1/2 hour so I would think it should have come on !!

hi well during that half hour did the car over heat at all. the fan comes on when needed- as long as you are not running hot or in the red it should be fine. or you could replace the sending unit, sensor, relay. but if you are not running hot your fine the fan will come on when its needed.  ok
