Ford Repair: 1962 Ford Galaxy, ford galaxy 500, eveything

How do I remove the molding on outside of car? I am redoing a Ford Galaxy 500 (1962). My grandmother was driving this car almost up to the day of her death. I dont want to damage the molding. Eveything on car is original. Thank You so much for your help.

To be very honest, I am not too familiar with the Ford Galaxy. The best that I can tell you is you will need a special body tool to remove it. But as body work is not my specialty, I can not tell you the name of the tool. I can also tell you that to remove the grill molding, you can remove that with a screwdriver, by lifting the hood, look behind the grill and you will see the screws. My recommendation would be if you know a local body shop that might lend you the tool or take it and have the local body shop remove it. You could also go to www.eastwoodcompany.com .
