-----Question-----
I have had the tranny flushed. After onwing the car for a few months it dumped all the fluid on the ground one night after work work, so sort of let loose or broke, shop fixed the problem and since that has happened I've been watching the fluid level and it hasn't lost any in a few months. Someone else said something about a some sort of a valve/electrical part that has a rubber o-ring on it that wears down and can not seal.

-----Question-----
I own a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina, when I first start it in the morning it will not shift into any gear until letting it run for about 1 to 10 minutes and sometimes if I rev the motor while having shift selector in drive or reverse it might make it go into gear. Sometimes it does this when motor is warm but have been sitting for about 30 minutes or more. The outside temp doesn't seem to affect this problem.
-----Answer-----
Paul. you might be low on tranny fluid, or you might have to have the system flushed if it keeps slipping you will end up getting a tranny job.
-----Answer-----
Paul;
HI  well it could be in the valve body , so  it would have to be taken out, or it might need a adj. ,  I would look for one of those tranny shops that have the 25.00 tranny check up, this way they will tell you what it is that is wrong. as it could be a lot of things , but it sounds as if it is not that serious now but it will only get worse.

Answer
valve body tells the fluid were and when to go to the gear you shifted it into also it regulates the psi.  it is like a lilt brain for the tyranny. and yes you could have a bad seal or o ring-
if it has a lot of miles on it , you might want to look into a re-built or re build your tyranny. get a kit. and the proper tools to rent.
