Auto Insurance Claims: Car got stolen but no car insurance, full coverage insurance, grace period

Hi, my boyfriend's car got stolen and he had full coverage insurance. My
boyfriend thinking that he has insurance finds out that his parents stopped
paying his car insurance for 3 months.  He filed a police report.  Is there
anything he can do?  Is there any possibility that he can just pay the insurance
company the 3 months his parents has not paid?

Hi Susan,

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. There is no grace period in auto insurance. If the premium is not paid there is no coverage. And they will not reinstate the coverage if it has lapsed for more than 30 days. I'm sorry but there is nothing you can do.
