Chevrolet: 00 Cavalier will not start, gas filter, fuel pump

Last night when I cranked my 2000 Cavalier, it idled real rough for about 2 mins. Once I got to going, it ran fine. This morning, it will not crank at all. It sounds like it wants to, but it is making a popping noise and acts like it wants to lunge. Please help!!

 HI  it will have to get a computer put on it , did you look to see if the belt is broken, and when was the last tune up/service. it might need a fuel filter  or you might have put in some bad gas, the fuel pump could be bad. etc.  
I would put in some dry gas, and see about the gas filter and fuel pump . ok
