Chevrolet: POWER STEERING HOSE, lumina apv, power steering hose

Question
1993 LUMINA APV  3.1 ENGINE    

PRESSURE HOSE ON POWER STEERING BAD

Can you recommend a procedure short of taking the vehicle to the dealership / service center or the junkyard to replace the hose.

There is minimal room and I have exhausted all the tools I own.


It requires an 18 mm wrench. Are there special wrenches for this?

 HI ; I would use a 6 point open end wrench , and you must use a second wrench next to it, if you have to a adj. wrench should work , do not put any type of preshure on the P/S unit itself as it can bend easy so just remove the line and replace it with the new one but use some teflon tape on the threds .  ok and do not over thighten...
