Chevrolet: 1992 Cavalier Fan doesnt turn on...., radiator hoses, thermastat

My fan does not turn on..... radiator hoses are intact, fuses checked, someone told me maybe thermostat ?  Possible ? Where is the thermostat located. Any other suggestions? thanks Alot !!

Hi  is it over heating ?  the fan might go on at times when the motor calls for it to go on , if it is not getting hot and it is running good than the fan only comes on when it is told to by the computer.  ok
the thermastat is in the water jacket but it has nothing to do with the fan
