My moms car wont pass smog because it of a multiple misfire, we have already changed the spark plug what else could we do, What does multiple misfire mean...please help....thanks

Hi well you can have a few things going on  it might be a sensor , they should have told you what it was that is bad , it was on the computor so why did they not say what was bad. i would check all spark plugs and than filters. but w/o a computor to tell you what codes are comming up a bad. you will have to take it to a trouble shooter and thats not cheep.  ok
so check all of the plugs to see if they are bad, that alone could do it.
