Chevrolet: 98 GTP, intake plenum, fuel pumps

Question
yes it has spark ,tested and it arched.the filter was recently changed and made sure to over the last several yrs. can't see any kinks in the gas line. Is there any way to check the fuel pumps voltage? What about this upper intake plenum gasket? and if it is the gasket will a engine compression check do the trick?

My 98 pontiac has a habit of dying while at various speeds,at take-off and at speeds of 50 mph. replaced the fuel pump w/ rebuilt. solved long crank time and seemed to fix the intermittent dying of the vehicle. 3 months later car dies and won't restart/turnover. No gas pressure in fuel rails and barely in the fuel filter and lines when I removed them. Fuel pump still makes noise but nothing like before. Just replaced resistor and short piece of harness. What am I missing? Please give me any thoughts on this subject.

HI;
  HI- is it getting spark ?
Have you checked the fuel line for any leak or kink.
and how is the fuel filter..

Answer
hi;
 what is wrong with the gasket ?  if it is bad the
(intake ?) it could keep it from starting or not run to good. and if you do a comp. check if anything is bad as far as the cyld. goes it should tell you  right then.
the voltage ? is it a elect. pump ? all you have to do is see if it is getting the 12 volts to run it- with a meter.
but if it was not getting any juice it would not work at all.have you tried to put some fuel in the carb. by hand and see if it will fire up.
