Question
First the vehicle will over heating while sitting still or driving some times not always just started. Also the vehicle will start to idle very high shut it off and restart it fine for a little while, the instrument gages will some times reset while starting the vehicle and the gauges will go hey wire. The fuel gage reads only till half tank and start going back up to full help still owe money

    HI - it sounds as if you might have a computer probl.
I would put it on a computer to see what codes come up , it could be a relay or a sensor . it might be a simple thing that needs to be replaced.
as far as the overheating , I would flush the system and do a rad. test. to look for any leaks.but you should check the hoses and look for any other troubles it could have . and check the rad. cap.
