Chevrolet: 1998 Metro Electrical Problems, valve job, chevrolet dealer

Question
We have a car that just had a valve job and new pistons put in. The battery was also replaced. Now the car automatically triggers the power locks even though the car is not equipped with power locks.  It will start and run great but will not re-start for up to 30 min. after it has been shut off after it warms up. The drivers side front running light is dim. There were no electrical problems before this and everything the mechanic came close to has been checked. Mechanic has had it for 5 months and says that it is not pulsing the injectors when trying to start it warm but can't figure out what is failing when the car warms up. We are despirate and have a Chevrolet dealer working with us on it and several other mechanics. Can anyone help?

I would go right to the computer , if the power locks were not working and now they do ? well it is getting a signal from someplace.I wonder if something was damaged when it was sitting all that time. check to see what codes
come up  and also if you can trace any wires that could have been hooked up wrong .
