Chevrolet: 95 Lumina Brake Lights, mechanic shop, steering wheel

Hello. I saw your 99 Lumina Brake Light info. I have a 95. I was wondering how did you take off the steering wheel to change the switch assembly? And what tools would I need exactly? My local mechanic shop wanted $500 so i decided to do it myself. I am just worried about the airbag deplyoing. If you can, email me the response at TK3_@hotmail.com Thanks.

           Wow 500.00 I did not think it would cost that much. You should go to the library and xrox copy the pages from the auto. tech. books there and it will tell you step by step on the removal of the steering wheel,etc. you will have to get a wheel puller to do the job.
buy  or  rent  it.
