Chevrolet: 1989 chevy s-10 freeze plugs, freeze plugs, freeze plug

I have a 1989 Chevy s-10 2.8 liter 4 wheel drive pickup. Ive been told the freeze plug/s located between engine and tranny need replacing. This is where the leak is visible and prominent. What is involved in making access in order to replace this plug?

  Well to replace the plugs in that area, the transmission will have to come out , I doubt that all are bad as just one will leak but it will involve some labor as the entire
rear of the engine must be removed /bellhousing / tranny.
i wonder have you tried any stop leak ? it can not hurt and it might do the trick.
