Chevrolet: firing order and distributer cap #s, distributer cap, iroq

Question
On a 1989 iroq 350 fuel injected whats the firing order and where's #1 on the cap and is it clockwise or counterclockwise rotation?

HI Everett;
           OK the fireing order is  1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
and the right bank is  2-4-6-8-  and  the  left  is 1-3-5-7- and you allways go by sitting in the drivers seat  so  the no# one (1) is the first cyld. on the drivers side. and on  the  cap the  no 1#  is around the 11:00  position  and if you are on the T.D.C. comp. stroke  the rotor should be on the no1# plug on the dist. cap.OK
