Chevrolet: 1997 chevy lumina blinker lights, chevy lumina, side blinkers

Question
hi i have a 1997 chevy lumina 3.1 ls and i am having a problem with the left blinker signal.. the blinker light its self stays a solid green it does not even go out when i turn the right blinker on.. the right side works great but the left side does not. i have checked all my fuses and i have replaced both the front and rear lights on the left side of the car but that has not worked.. i have been told that there is a part near my dash colum that i could try to look for but i do not know the name of it and where it is located.... thank you any help would be great, thank you steve franklin

Answer
Hi Steve;
        Yes it could be your flasher , it is like a fuse but it is silver in color most of the time and it plugs into a socket, your booklet that comes with the car should have a photo of it, remove it and replace it, to see if it is the right one put the signals on and it will click when the blinkers / lights go on / off . thats the one to remove  .  put  the right side blinkers on to find it - it will be klicking when the blinkers are on. remove it. OK
