Chevrolet: Lumina 98 No Brake Stop Light, brake light switch, pluged

Question
I was just pulled over by another driver who informed me that I have no Brake Stop Light on my 1998 Lumina.  The panel stop light works well (the one in the rear window)!  I replaced all rear lights and fuses, but still no Brake Stop Lights. As I search the Internet, I am learning about a brake light switch...  Please advise.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi Joe;
       OK if just one bulb is bad at times it will / can cause all to go out  did you  look  at the fuse again and
are the wires in the back un-pluged ? or is the wire from the brake light switch un-pluged ? as far as the brake light switch that would be the last thing to replace. so re-check all bulbs and see if anything is unpluged  . it might be unpluged , the brake light switch is right next to the brake pedal you can see it above the arm it will have a few wires going into it.I bet that the dash lights are also out . that is to show you that the back lights are out also. ,  so re check all and if they still do not work than I would say the brake switch is faulty.The switch is not that much to buy. OK
