Motorcycle Repair: 69 FLH Clutch plate dimentions, clutch plate, clutch plates

Mike, can you give me the factory specs on what the '69 FLH clutch plate tolerances are? Thanks.

There really is no tolerence. Harley never gave one in the service manal. It was left up to the dealer. What you need to do is an inspection on the clutch plates. If they are close to being worn to the metal plate, then they need replaced. If they are glazed really bad, you can soak them in gas, clean them and let then dry really well.
