i have changed all plugs and wires on my 1997 4x4 blazer with 4.3.but i cannot change the middle one ,on drivers side,it is behind the sterring bar,i can get the plug wrench on it,but no universal.it dosent stick out far enough to get a wrench on the plug wrench, any suggestion on it would help
Answer -
Hi Jim, sorry for the delay. most spark plug sockets have a hex on the end that a 3\4 wrench will fit, put the socket on the spark plug then use the wrench to turn it, remove the spark plug and thread in the new one put the socket on it again and use the wrench to tighten it. I hope this helps you if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith

Answer
Hi Jim, I know there is not much room there, but if you fiddle around with it you will get it, I have used this method many times. it took a while to get it the first time then it came easier the next time. Good luck. I hope this helps you if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
