I'm having trouble with my 94 pontiac sunbird ( basically a cavalier). I will be driving and it will start stuttering like it wants to die and it doesn't matter if I'm parked driving hitting the gas or anything. nothing makes it stop. This only happens in the heat of the day not in the mornings when the weather is cooler. I have noticed that I have a transmission fluid leak but added more fluid and it still did it. Any help is greatly appreciated

  Michael, I do not think the trans fluid has any thing to do with the way the car runs, well when was the last tune up ?. is the fuel filter bad, or the choke could be sticking. Also the sensor could be bad (map sensor) and what type of gas is in it (water) try a can of stp gas treatment.
