Thanks for responding so quickly. The motor is a 3.8 liter. I'm not sure of the tranny.

Hi MIke have you catallatic converter checked for blockages, these engines had a problem with the mass air flow sensor also, and the lockup torque could be a problem by not dissengauging at the right time. Have it hooked up to a anlizer, it is worth the money you will save money in the long run by not replacing uneccesary parts. I hope this helps you if you need more info just let me know.
