Chevrolet: Cooling fan, buick skylark, inner fender

Question
Keith,

I have a 1994 Buick Skylark with a 2.3L OHC engine. The cooling fan has stopped working. The first thing I checked was the fan, which is fine, but there is no voltage getting to the fan. Where is the relay switch and temp sensor located, so I can check those as well?

Thanks!

Art

Answer
Hi Art, it is most likely to be the relay, if the temp sensor was not working you would notice a difference in the engine performance. The temp sensor is threaded into the head with a two wire plug on it, just unscrew it and screw in the new one. The relay is on the inner fender on the left side, there is one for the fuel pump and one for the fan, they are both the same, you will have to find out witch is witch. I hope this helps you, if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
