Chevrolet: 97 Lumina brakes, time mike, hi mike

I had a dealer replace the front brake pads and turn the rotors yesterday.  When I picked it up, it was making a kind of thumping noise when the brakes were applied.  Took it right back, and he put some adhesive on the pads, and said that should take car of it.  It still thumps.  It is a thump/noise that varies with how fast the car is going, only when the brakes are applied. No pulling, but I can almost feel it in the pedal and wheel (although not as much as a warped rotor).  Any ideas on what it may be?

Hi Mike, there is only one thing that could cause a varible speed thump that you only feel when you when applying the brakes. It has to be the rotor, When the shop took down the rotor they didnt take enough off it. Take it back to the shop an get them to do it again.Regards, Keith.
