my husband was driving to work the car made a pop noise he cannot tell me where the pop came from then it went dead, once we got it home,we tried to start it but it would not. we found it had no spark so we replaced the coil, dist cap, module, pick up coil, mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor and still it will not start. battery is fine and we also tested the fuel pump to see if we could hear it come on and it did.
Answer -
Hi Teresa, what size engine does it have? Did you check the the computer? Is the distributor turning when you crank the engine? There also could be a broken wire. Send me some more info and we will try to figure it out. Regards, Keith.

2.8 liter v 6 ...im sorry...i looked at the ecm and looks good. dont know about the dist turning its at my husbands shop... its all brand new parts...

Answer
Hi Teresa, check the dist to see if its turning, this will tell you the timing chain is not broken. Its almost impossible to tell if the computer is ok by looking at it. You have to have it tested or try another one. Let me know what you find. Regards, Keith.
