Chevrolet: 2001 Chevy Impala Blinker trouble, chevy impala, blinkers

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala and the blinker lights do not seem to be working. I checked the fuse and the fuse is not blown. The blinkers work sometimes (they will usually blink a couple times then stop) any idea what might be causing this or if this is a common problem? Thanks

Hi Jon, its most likely the flasher. it just plugs in to the wiring harness, and it only costs a few bucks. it is located under the dash, to find it just turn on the blinker and listen for the ticking noise, the thing that makes the ticking noise is the flasher. I hope this helps you
