Chevrolet: tail pipe, chevy malibu, tail pipe

Question
I live in Trenton, NJ and own a 2002 chevy malibu. I was resently talking with a friend, about to drive off, then they told me I had a leak under my car. So I look at the liquid on the ground under the back of my car and noticed it was clear with no smell, water? I then looked and saw that there was a little water in the tail pipe. The next morning as my wife drove off I looked at the spot where the car was and there was that same little puddle, I suppose there was water in the pipe this time... can you help?

Answer
ok what your telling me is that you have moisture in your ex.system - can i ask you -do you only drive a little bit to where you are going  and not letting the car get up to its normal running temp,? as that is what it sounds like to me, as it is really no big deal  as you only would have to replace a muffler a bit sooner as it can rust out, but it is nothing to worry about, try to take a drive at least once a week on a highway and get the car running at normal running temp. than go and give it a lil gas on the highway to just clean it out for a few seconds thats all as you have water in the ex. system from moisture as you must not get it that hot to often but i would not worry about it, unless it starts pouring out green and oil than you have a blown gasket or cracked motor. but for real as long as it is running fine it is nothing to worry about ok
good luck
