How do You get the motor out?

Are you referring to the rear side door motor? or is this a Sport Trac with the rear cargo area window motor?

Unfortunately, I have never seen a re & re description for most body parts.

Carefully remove required trim and expose the motor. Disconnect the wiring and wedge the window using nylon wedges to prevent the window from dropping. Un bolt the window regulator mechanism and remove as an assembly. Remove motor from regulator assembly using extreme car as it can be under heavy tension (enough to badly mangle your hand).

Reverse to install.


I recommend that you test the motor prior to installation.
