Ford: charging, ford feista, battrey

hi have ford feista van 1.8td on 2000. i have put a new battrey on and tested it when engine is runing it is charging leave it for week and goes flat can anyone help

How did you test the charging system?  what was max amperage available?  What was charging amperage at idle?  Does battery take a load test successfully?
If all these numbers are good, then you would need to do a parasitic draw test.  Maximum allowable draw (after the first 1.5 minutes) is .030 amps. anything above that would kill off a good battery.
