Ford: Ford Ranger Trailer Wiring, trailer wiring harness, aol im

Question
Hello Ragu, Thanks for taking questions.
I have a problem with the trailer wiring on my 99 Ford Ranger extended cab 4.0 4x4.
It came with the flat 4 wire trailer setup. Due to a mishap, the plug on the truck was smashed. I removed this plug and cleaned up the wires. Then before replacing it I used my DVM to check the wires. Everything worked but the green wire, which operates the brake/right turn signal on a trailer. Here is a break down of the wiring on the truck.

Separate trailer harness on the truck (factory)
1 yellow = brake/Left turn (ok)
1 green = brake/right turn (dead, and no short)
1 brown = running lights (ok)
1 white = ground (ok)

Separate truck main harness (these all work fine)
1 green = truck brakes
1 brown = truck running
1 black = truck ground
1 blk/pink = truck backup
1 green/red = truck left turn
1 red/blue = truck right turn

The actual wiring on the trailer is the typical 4-flat type.

I opened the loom to trace the dead green wire thinking it would come to a junction but it keeps going toward the front as a solid wire no splices. I have unwrapped this for about 6 feet and have found no bad wires. With a test light I probed this green wire as far as I could trace it in the loom and I do not find it live. The truck main harness and the trailer harness eventually come together in one loom and run towards the front. My questions are...
A. Does this green wire run all the way to the    dash? If so, where?
B. I don't think I can splice the truck brake and truck right turn to the single green trailer wire right? The brake would over ride the turn signal? Or blow something?
C. Is there a Separate Fuse box for the trailer wiring harness?
D. Any suggestions on what might be the problem with the trailer harness green wire?
E. How do I get this green wire wired into the system?

All your input is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Eric if you go to the front of the truck in the eng compartment under the brake booster your wires run out of the fire wall to a conector and then to the rear now some times you will get brake fluid intrusion and cause a bad contact it should b a 60 pin conector ck the in and out of the wire to the conector    Good Luck
