Ford: rear brakes, slide pins, rear brakes

Question
I HAVE 2006 F250 DIESEL WITH 53000 MILES AND THE REAR BRAKES ARE STICKING PUT NEW PADS ON AND BLEED THE BRAKES

Answer
Hello

I assume you have lifted the front and rear wheels and found that yes, only the rear brakes are sticking on.

With the rear brakes stuck on, crack the bleeder and see if they release.

If yes, then repeat the process moving up to the next component (ie: ABS or Proportioning valve) until you find the guilty party.

If the brakes still stick with bleeder open, then the problem is in the rear brakes.

This can be:
Incorrect pads or rotor
improper installation ( inside pad and outside pad swapped)
seized caliper slide pins
foriegn object( rock or other) interfering
piston not pushed all the way back in ( caliper problem)
or something in the axle/ driveline.
