Ford: clutch and lights, clear headlights, low beams

Question
QUESTION: i got two first my light switch shot out a spark and all i get is headlights and the dome light every now and then i can get the break lights and dash lights to work, do i just need to change the switch, the second one is my clutch is stuck in it can shift into all gears but the peddle just stays on the floor what can cause that and how would i fix it. please help

ANSWER: What year, make and model?

I guess the only real way to see what you need is to remove the switch and examine the plug.. these plugs often melt and are available at your jobber.

The clutch problem sounds like a failed hydraulic, but i would need to know what vehicle you have

QUESTION: its a 94 ranger xlt 2wd one of the plugs did melt a bit i changed the switch and cleaned all the contacts i still only have head lights i didn't wanna mess with the clutch

Answer
Hello,

Fuse #10 under the dash provides juice to park lamps and brake lights.

Just so I'm clear...

Headlights and park lights will work without the ignition on. You state that headlights are working (high and Low beams), but park lights are not.
Brake lights, dash lights, dome light??

the tan/ wht wire is power into the switch from fuse #10. with park lights on, power to all the lights is provided on the brn wires.
