none of the electric windows will go up and down. When it first started, slamming the driver's door wold make them all work.

Sorry i don't have wiring diagrams with me right now, but i can tell you that most vehicles have all the power for all the doors routed through the drivers door controls. On older, well used vehicles, the flexible portion in the door jamb was also susceptible to breakage, but more gm than ford.
