Question
QUESTION:
"Hi I wrote to you a couple of days ago and the response was

did you ck it for codes and if so what are they

well we have changed the coils, wires, plugs and ignition monitor attached to the distributor cap, the van still wont start it turns but it does not start, I have a ford E-150 Econoline van, the initial problem was that it started blowing black smoke as I was driving and lost its power and then it would not start, I was told maybe the coils so that was taken care of as I have said already, is there something else we could do the code from the scanner read Code 11, I thank you in advance for your help

ANSWER: i'm going to need the year and eng. size

QUESTION: I do not know how to check for the fuel psi maybe you could tell me yes it does have spark and the rotor is moving, I changed the battery also it was not good, it wants to start but it clunks, I am thinking maybe the timing jumped could this be the problem, I am at my wits end trying to figure this one out thanks for your continued help..

Answer
ok as far as the timing jump it cant because the good thing is that there is no chain its gear to gear.you can rent a fuel pressure tester from your Napa, auto zone or other parts house.and all you have to do is just screw it into the fuel rail. it looks just like the valve stem on your tire.
