Ford: Ignition wiring, engine harness, ford f150

My son and myself swapped a 4.9l 300ci six from a 1991 ford f150 4x4 to a 1985 5.0, the new motor has a mallory pro billet distributor (brand new) Im not quite sure how I should wire this in without causing damage to the electrical system, Im not very good with electronics. I really would appreciate your help. Thank you!

Before we get started... I'll need to know if you are going fuel injected or carbed... I am assuming that the 85 5.0 is a mustang so that the 6 cyl was installed in the mustang. if you are doing fuel injection (you most likeley are due to the f150 being a 91...) you will need the engine harness and the computer harness out of the truck... .let me know and we can go from there...
