Ford: 1998 F-150 OEM Alarm System, horn blows, interferred

My truck has just started acting crazy.  The lights flash, the horn blows and the doors locks and unlocks all by them selves.  I am trying to determine if this is a common problem for this truck or is the remote key receiver being interferred with by some other external device.  I had to disconnect my battery ground last night at 2:00 am to get some sleep.  Help!!

try to re-program your remotes... (Should be done by key cycling the ignition switch 8 times stopping in the run position. if you are in the program mode the locks will lock and unlock, press any buttom on the remote, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm, and roll the key off to exit... if this doesn't help you may need to replace the anti theft module... Hope this helps...
