Ford: Replacing sunvisor clips., screw driver, clip car

I am sorry to trouble you with what may seem to you a stupid question.
My daughter has a Ford Escort 1.4LX  N reg.
She has broken the clip for the driver side sun visor. I thought that even I could manage this simple repair- Not so simple.I bought the fitting required which is a sort of plasic housing which includes clips for both sides.To remove the existing fitting you need to remove the sunroof handle.This is the problem. I cannot get the screw for the handle to budge.Any suggestions ?

Hi,

You need to use the right type of a screw driver, its usually a star tipped. Place the screw driver on to the head of the screw, turn it counter clockwise, use a little force on the screwdriver as you turn it. It has to come out. Or else you will have to destroy the old clip, car will have to be taken not to damage the roof top.
