Ford: Truck wont start, ford f 150, moulton

Question
I have a 1986 ford f-150 lariet 5.0 a/t. I drove the p/u approximately 25mi and came to a stop and turn off the motor for about 20 minutes then tried to start the p/u. It turned over started for a second but died and would not start. I checked if it gets fuel and or spark both ok. The starter when bad and was replaced about 7 months ago. What else should i check before taking it to a shop.

Does the motor turn over at all (spin) even though it doesn't start up? If not, check the starter again. Also check the ignition module or the PIP sensor off the distributor (that caused a lot of problems for that year). Ford also had an ignition wiring problem in trucks year 1986 to 1988.
